Policies and Procedures
Customer satisfaction is our utmost priority.
If you are unhappy with your purchase or think that you received something different than what was pictured or described, message us immediately and we will work to resolve your issue in a fair and reasonable manner.
All packaging is video recorded and all packages are weighed for accuracy. We know the weight of each package when it leaves here. If you ordered 1 coin, 2 coins or a multiple of coins, the package weight will be displayed during our packaging process. We know exactly what ships out in each package as it is checked by 2 people, weighed and videoed as the items are being placed into the package. If someone claims they did not receive an item(s), we can review our video and see exactly what was put into their packages, thus adding a level of insurance that the customer gets exactly what they paid for.
SHIPPING:
USPS is our’s as well as Ebay’s preferred method of shipping. The special Ebay rates afforded by the post office for tracked First Class packages cannot be matched by UPS or Fedex. Instant package information is available by clicking the “Track Package” button on the purchase history section of your item.
The USPS uses geo positioning with all packages. This system gives the exact location of the package at any given time. The best part is that when the package is scanned for delivery, the system gives the exact location that the item was scanned. (i.e. your mailbox, handed to you, your P.O. Box, or wherever you specify in your Ebay and PayPal settings. If your package shows delivered but isn’t in your mailbox, simply call your post office and they will tell you exactly where the package was scanned for delivery. We have had several packages delayed over the years, no doubt. Sometimes the post office reminds us of the Pony Express. But we have never had a package NOT get delivered or “lost”.

Most items are shipped within 48 hours of payment, but certain items, due to their demand and the volume of order that we receive daily (such as the American Silver Eagles) sometimes have shipping turnarounds of 5 to 7 days. In most cases they ship sooner than that, but on heavy volume days, especially when silver is active, it can take longer. A Five Dollar order is just as important to us as a Five Thousand Dollar order. We promise to ship your product as soon as it comes up in the queue, in a professionally wrapped package.
If your package arrives damaged, immediately file a damage report with their local post office. If the coin is damaged, we will need a copy of the damage report in order to assist you.

RETURN POLICY:
An auction is not a try-before-you-buy approval service. Be sure that you want the item before you bid on it. If you are the winning bidder and for some reason feel that what you purchased was not what was pictured and described, you may return it within 7 days for a refund.

This is one of those areas where some have made it harder on others. We have had 2 instances of people swapping out coins from slabs and then trying to return them. A graded, certified coin is just that. We do not use any type of special lighting or filters on any of our coins and all pictures are taken with a Nikon D3400 Digital Camera. We include close-up shots of all coins, so you know exactly what you are getting<<<

The coin must be returned UNOPENED in it’s original white protective cellophaned “flip”, unaltered and in the exact same condition that it was received in.
Any coin sent to a 3rd party grading service is automatically ineligible for return. Buyer pays return shipping charges on all returns.

GRADING AND GRADING SERVICES:
This has always been a sore spot for many collectors. Coins that you know the entire provenance of coming back as “cleaned”, questionable grades on flawless coins, and inconsistent grades from company to company. Grading is not only subjective, it is very political as well. Keep that in mind when you send those coins in to be graded. You may be pleasantly surprised or miserably disappointed depending on how good the coffee was that morning at the grading house.
CLEANING OF COINS:
The fact is, most coins have been cleaned at one time in their life. Whether it was soap and water to get caked mud from a Civil War Soldier’s Silver Dollar or some moron with no numismatic respect for the business “whizzing” a coin so he can make it look BU and get a few extra dollars for. Our advice on cleaning any type of coin: DON’T DO IT!!!
We do not clean or dip coins as a matter of policy. Nor do we purchase any coins that show signs of improper cleaning, polishing or whizzing. In the remote case that a grading house returns your coin as “cleaned” and you do not think this is a fair assessment, you have 3 choices: 1) Break the coin out of the case and just keep it as it is, 2) Break the coin out and send it to another grading company or 3) Leave it in the case and accept the “Details” grade. We guarantee that every coin that we sell is genuine. We cannot guarantee any grade or whether or not a coin will come back with “Details”, but we are professional collectors and do everything under our power to prevent this type of merchandise from even showing up in our inventory.
WE ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL GRADERS
Any grade that we place in the description on an ungraded coin is strictly our opinion based on the hundreds of coins that we handle daily of virtually every denomination. You coin may grade higher or lower that the grade we estimated, but we are generally right on the money.
A SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT AMERICAN SILVER EAGLES AND SPOTTING
As most are aware, this is an enormous, industry-wide issue. Coins graded by virtually every grading company out there are experiencing white spotting THAT WILL NOT COME OFF on coins originally graded “Perfect” coins. We have tried to weed these out of our inventory, but a few still remain that we are taking offers on. As a new policy, every graded and ungraded Silver Eagle that we receive is looked at through 10X for any signs of spotting whatsoever. If spotting is discovered, we immediately send the coin back to our wholesale source.
