1940s Vintage Gabardine Crop Jacket High Waist Pants Suit 28-29W

Description

This is a stunning 1940s pant suit with a cropped jacket and high waist gabardine pants. The jacket has a fantastic brocade frog closure and big padded shoulders. The pants have belt loops, a side metal zipper inside the pocket, 2 pockets and a decorative button at the bottom of the legs. This is labeled Cain-Sloan Co. There is another label that says it it wool gabardine.
This suit is in good condition. There is a very small snag on the lapel and two very small pin holes on the pants.
The jacket measures:
20" chest laying flat pit to pit
21" sleeve length from the shoulder down to the cuff
16" shoulders in back
18" length from the collar fold down in back
The pants measure:
28" waist with room to let out 1 inch in the back seam
44" hips
