    Description

    The styling of the closures from the Edwardian Era were just impeachable and impeccable!  For your consideration, a grand black bakelite cloak or cape clasp closure, ca. 1920s.  Carved in a trefoil design, featuring pewter filigree openwork.  Nice detailed design in closure elements.
    Measuring 5" long x 1 3/4" tall and 3/8" thick.  In nice vintage condition.  All components are sound.
    This item has been hot water tested to verify that it is authentically bakelite.  Note that black bakelite does not test under simichrome polish.
