Darling 1960 Black Silk Blend Shantung Skirt / Short Jacket w Bow w- 24 1/4

Description

This cute set is made from a shantung, it's not marked but I don't think it's pure silk, it feels like a silk and rayon blend to me. The skirt is pleated and has a metal zipper. It looks like the waistband was adjusted, but nicely done. It measures 24 1/4 inches around the waist, hips    full and it's 22 3/4 inches long with  a wide hem (it was shortened). The short jacket sits low on the shoulder, the collar is cut on the bias, it hooks at the neck and has a really cute, loopy bow in front. It measures about 36 inches around the bust and is 13 1/2 inches long. No labels, skirt is not lined, the jacket is lined with another layer of the shantung. It has the inventory tags from FIT attached. Excellent.
