Designer David Fielden Vintage 1980 skirt

Designer David Fielden Vintage 1980 skirt. This one of a kind Skirt purchased in London in the early 80's. Used to dance the night away so many times at Nell's in NY after dinner at IndoChine. It Pairs perfectly with fitted black bustier or long sleeve form fitting crop top. I must say after 40 years this girl is holding up well. Here are the low points....please look at the pictures.
1) There is a water stain below the right pocket....here is the plus side; its in the ripple fold and doesn't show unless held up to strong light as I did for the picture.
2) on the back on the bow ribbon there is red wine stain........again, it doesn't show as it is on the underside
3) light fraying of fabric near the eye and hook attachment of the wrap around skirt. The bow hides this flaw as well
All-in-all the skirt still looks fabulous!! Total length is 19". The waist band takes up 2" of that measurement. The waist is 26" (before my 4 kids, that's for sure!)
There are 2 very deep side pockets, great for holding stuff at the clubs or to just swish your skirt around when your feeling flirtatious.
This English designer is known for his wedding dresses and the shirt is made of with enough fabric to billow around the legs and hand stitched snaps and closures. the hem has a heavy strip in the lining to keep the form correct and stop it from fluttering in the breeze. They just don't make skirts like this anymore!!
BTW this is size 8 but from the 80's so calculate it would be about a size 6 today........no it didn't shrink, "they" have changed the sizes over the years.
