    Description

    Offering in EXCELLENT CONDITION...
    a rare vintage
authentic 47 year old presskit from Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan, two singers who had many hit songs in the sixties with the pop group The Turtles (remember "Happy Together", "She'd Rather Be With Me" and "Elenore"?), and later joined Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention using the names Phlorescent Leech & Eddie or the shortened Flo and Eddie. (Due to contractual obligations they were unable to use their real names.) They also later sang backing vocals on the T-Rex hit "Bang A Gong" and Bruce Springsteen's "Hungry Heart" among others.
with a five page COLUMBIA RECORDS biography/press release dated September 1974
and two original COLUMBIA RECORDS b&w 8"x10" publicity stills
for their soon to be released third album on Columbia
FLO AND EDDIE - "ILLEGAL, IMMORAL AND FATTENING"
    BONUS:
Also included is a third REPRISE RECORDS publicity still from their second album "Flo and Eddie" which was released in 1973.
