Extremely rare fine,Exceptional quality specimen and collected at site in 1963 and comes from a collector that was in the minerals of North Carolina for 55 years and is still around today but has retired.The specimen has a main crystal Nugget on the top with other crystals on the front,back and sides.The Gold is and on Quartz and weighs 13.10 grams or 0.462 ounces and measures 28.2mm long x 21.6mm tall x 16.8mm from front to back.The gold nugget and crystals measures in many sizes but the biggest which is the one on the top measures 3.5mm long x 2.4mm wide x 1.3mm tall.Comes in the original clear box and has been in storage for at least 55 years.This comes with a extremely old index card with all info as you see in picture.This comes from the Nibbler Gold Mine,Collettsville,Caldwell County,North Carolina and comes from the Blue Ridge Mining District which was discovered in the 1850s.This comes from the Ex.James Hefner collection which now he is 83 years old and is retiring from the mineral industry and now consigned me to sell is mineral collection which is now being listed.All minerals that you see on the site comes from him but a lot of the minerals and specimens come from many different collectors through out the USA and some very well know collectors.As always we offer combine shipping in the USA and worldwide and please ASK QUESTIONS IF NECESSARY,Thank you.
