There are brands trying to fool the buying public.  Here's an example of one well known company doing this.
They show the raw  measurements on the packaging but not what's actually in the final spray they are selling.  This is very misleading.
Using their own numbers of raw pepper at 5,300,000 SHU and Major Capsaicinoids at 35% and formula using 2% of the raw, then the MC would only be 0.7% -- half of what Wildfire is (1.4%).

The Canister size is  restricted to  35grams approx. 1.2oz.
Wisconsin:
Tear gas is not permissible.  By regulation, OC products with a maximum OC  concentration of 10% and weight range of oleoresin of capsicum and inert  ingredients of 15-60 grams are authorized.   This is 1/2 oz. and 2 oz. spray. Further, the product cannot be camouflaged, and must have a safety  feature designed to prevent accidental discharge.  The units may not have an effective range of  over 20 feet and must have an effective range of six feet.  In addition there are certain labeling and  packaging requirements: must state cannot sell to anyone under 18 and the phone number of the manufacturer has to be on the label.  The units must  also be sold in sealed tamper-proof packages.

Pepper Spray is legal in all 50 states, however a number of  cities and states have restrictions on sizes, strengths, etc.. If you have a question, it is wise to check with you local city or state attorneys office. Defense sprays should only be purchased by those 18  years of age or older. Wildfire 18% Sticky Pepper gel
This is a nice size cannister of gel. The package it is the equivalent of 3 million Scoville units and will both stick to your skin and also has a dye in it so you will be noticeable for a few days. It will shoot 15-18 feet. It has about 20, 1 second bursts. My only complaint is that this does not come with a holster. I am not crazy about putting it in my pocket. It will fit in your purse and has a safety lid to prevent accidental discharge.

I test sprayed my unit and it came out a light brownish color. It was also not sticky but rather a thick liquid. I may test another unit from a different batch, but I'll probably just stick with Sabre Red Gel because though not as hot at this Wildfire it is always the same.

I test fired it into my trash container. Powerful stream blast. This stuff is nasty. I went outside for a smoke and I swear when I came inside I could almost taste it in the air! I wouldn't want to get hit by it. I was impressed by the size of the container also. NOT A KEY CHAIN MASE.!!!! It also has about an inch wide firing button. Be afraid be very afraid.
This product is hazardous to anyone that touches it! I opened the unused package after I received it in the mail it appeared undamaged so I opened the blister pack and looked at the canister all appeared to be well so I placed the canister in a cabinet and went on about my business until about an hour later I rubbed my eye.....OMG thought I was going to go blind and or die!

I was walking home at 3:00 am, after parking my car a few blocks away from home. I work nights. I came across a guy who wanted to rob me. I am 5-7 and he was 6-2.
