Steel-green with poppy-red band and piping.  Gabardine wool body, which was uniquely common to the Bavarian units of the Imperial German Army.  High quality silvered Bavarian and national cockades with some age toning and dark spots.  Supple ersatz sweatband and fine yellow-green cloth interior.  Minor age discoloration in the band, but virtually no mothing or other wear/damage. A solid example ofa scarce cavalry cap.
