Imperial German Feldmutze Kratchen Infantry. Condition is "Used".
"Kratchen"  in this context means   SAMPLES, from a hatmaker, or uniform maker. Not the actual full size worn, or even sized for wear as Kinderuniform .. These are scaled down version in order to show numerous examples in a shop, instead of crowding the shop. They are miniature, as "chen" would normally indicate. But in general this is a compact cap, as opposed to the other types of caps and helmets worn. They would not even fit on a newborn baby. Having said all that , they are in fact more rare than the full sized versions.
