Lilli Ann of San Francisco Vintage Suit Jacket Navy Blue Gabardine ~ 1949/1950
Tailored hourglass shape, elongated jacket with exaggerated padded shoulder and nipped in waist. Navy blue wool gabardine and lined in navy rayon crepe. Wide buttoned down pointed lapel and a collar that buttons at the center back. The jacket has 4 button closure straight down the front. Tacked down ruching along front side seams from bust to waist. Gently curved front hem gives way to straight back hem. Princess seams back. Notched cuffed full length sleeves with button
Condition -- Upon close inspection found some moth damage  - just below front 2nd button, this is covered when jacket is buttoned up, right sleeve near cuff, back right arm just above elbow, left back about midway down. Note no major holes however. Please see photos - clothespin marks the spot. Inside of collar shows signs of wear - some makeup residue (?) - jacket has not been cleaned this may come out.
