    Description

I have had these for a while and they need a new home. I will sell individually if you make me a great offer. There are the two vase type shells with beautiful etching and shaping and very nice detailed areas. One has been constructed from two separate munitions. It bears a Lieutenant's bar and the crossed rifles of the infantry and has WWI era French coins attached. It stands approx. 12" tall.
The more sculptural of the shells with bas relief and metal working has "Verdun" and the double cross, as well as an eagle holding a shield with vertical stripes. The bottom reads 75 DEC and MGM426L 18BX. It is approx. 14" tall.
The other vase has "1919" inscribed below a very detailed group of 3 bloomed roses and one bud with a scroll banner with two more roses framing the name "Edoward" in fancy script. It is 11" tall and 4" wide at the petal ends on top. The bottom has lots of imprinted information "18Pr over a II being the most prominent. RAL is also larger print on the smaller charge plate.
I can take more detailed photos upon request. These are among the last of my WWI collectibles. I do have some other items such as a shave kit etc.
Thanks for looking! Also please contact me for final shipping price as I will need to insure these items and the eBay calculator is not always accurate.
