Description

This original condition Rock Island Arsenal 1913 bayonet with the model 1910 canvas scabbard is in good condition. The bayonet blade shows some wear on the parkerized finish from movement in and out of it's scabbard. The blade is in it's original unsharpened condition and I didn't feel any roughness on the blade with my fingers.  Wooden grips are original and are without any movement being attached to the bayonet. The canvas scabbard is in good condition without any splits in the stitching and the canvas scabbard shows well but there is a little dirt along the edges of the stitching and there may have been a label on its front side because there is a lightly faded 1" X 2" marking on it.
