VINTAGE 1960 4 PC SUIT 2 SKIRTS JACKET TOP BLUE GREEN BROCADE TAILORED FORMAL

Description

Beautiful vintage 1960s women's blue and green shiny brocade four-piece skirt suit set, with short and long skirt lengths, button-back sleeveless top and 3/4 sleeve jacket.
This gorgeous fabric has no stretch so make sure you don't measure larger than the measurements above and in the description below.
I am guessing at the size because it is unmarked. I measured across the waist and underarms, and since many women were slimmer in the 1960's, with small waists,  it really doesn't exactly match the sizes of today. Please ask any questions!
The skirts each have a side zipper and slightly adjustable waist if you move the "eyes" from the Hook & Eye closures. The skirt waistband is covered by the top and jacket. There are two side slits on the maxi skirt and a back pleat in the short skirt.
Skirts and jacket are nicely lined with blue rayon. Short skirt has a 4" hem and the maxi has a 3.5", so both can be let out. There are darts in the fronts and backs of the skirts.
The top has two slits on the lower front edge and is 19" from shoulder to hem. Brocade covered buttons look gorgeous on the back!
The jacket has clear wavy buttons and wonderful handmade buttonholes, and is constructed with 5 pieces, the two underarm sections providing a curve for the bust. It is 21" from shoulder to hem.
This suit is very well made.
