Vintage 1990s VAL PIRIOU Suit Lady's Lycra

This is an incredible and rare suit from the French fashion designer Val Piriou.
Piriou was named "Fashion Designer of the Year" in 1990 in London.
This suit is part of the 80s-90s "everything black fashion".  She made many garments that were tight fitting and wildly constructed in design and cut.  This suit, with the fitted jacket and very narrow skirt, is a perfect example of her high style designs right down to the signature "V" shaped zipper pull and oversized metal zipper used in the jacket and the skirt.
The jacket has a fitted waist and very long sleeves striped in three rows of black and gray mohair.  The collar uses the same mohair and is a very large stand up, stand down style falling down the front on both sides to just above the waist line.  The hem of the jacket has a mohair border measuring 6 inches wide.  The thick lycra fabric molds to the body and "gives" approximately 1-2" with movement.  The skirt is very tight with a 12" kick split in the back.  It is pull on with a long back zipper and no waistband.  The suit is not lined.
The condition is excellent especially for it's age.  There are no holes or rips or tears or fades and no stains.
