This piece is adorable!
It's a Martha of Taos.
Martha was an amazing designer and a true Taos character back in the day.
She was most famous for her broomstick skirts.  But she also designed tops and jackets.
This one has a more Asian look that her usual Southwest Style.
I wish I could say it's in perfect shape, but it's not.
Remember!  It's easily 60 years old!
There is some sun fade.  But it's subtle.  You can really only see it when you see that the original
blue is darker.... like on the inside of the jacket near the lining.
The lining is discolored on the upper back.
A bit dirty at the neckline.
But it is truly a one-of-a-kind piece... and there won't be anymore when they're gone.  Martha passed
away a number of years ago.
I'm not sure what the fabric is.  I'm guessing silk.  You can be sure it's some kind of fine fabric... not polyester...
Martha only used the best... real silk velvet and rayon, etc... only the good stuff.
Notice the fabulous gold blingy trim... and little tassels at the top.
The fabric is also awesome... little flowers and wheels... also done in a shiny gold.
