Vintage 60s RARE Twiggy Original Two-Piece Beige Wool Skirt and Jacket Set

Absolutely stunning vintage 60s Twiggy (official brand of model Lesley Hornby) two-piece beige wool skirt and jacket set. Made in England. Both pieces are lined. Blazer/jacket features brown football buttons. Skirt has back zipper and clasp closure and adjustable belt. Jacket lining has faint staining near armhole and two small pinholes on the back (see pictures). Skirt has a brand new zipper added by a professional tailor; the old one had become sticky and hard to open and close. No rips, tears, or odor. Size on tag: 36.
This is a very rare piece from a high-end line with a limited run that began in 1966, photographed by Barry Lategan who helped Twiggy launch her career. Trimfit would later launch lashes and hosiery.
