Vintage Chinese Pankou Xi Red Jewel Tone Damask Brocade Suit Jacket Skirt 2pc Dress
This vintage Chinese pankou Xi red jewel tone damask brocade suit jacket skirt two piece dress dates from the 1960s. It is made of a colorful jewel tone iridescent red silk damask weave brocade fabric with a woven floral foliage design pattern. This beautiful brocade Chinese style two piece women's suit has a fitted tailored suit jacket with a V front neckline, 3/4 length sleeves, decorative pankou Xi Chinese character for "Joy" knotted button toggle trim, snap closures down the front and is fully lined in a red fabric. The jacket measures 20 inches long, with a 32 inch chest, 26 inch waist, a 18 inch long sleeve and 13 1/2 inch back. Included is a matching fabric fitted pencil skirt above the knee length, with a back zipper hook closure and is fully lined. The skirt measures 24 inches long, with a 23 inch waist and 35 inch hips. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of custom made Chinese wearable art!
