Vintage Lonsdale Jeans School Uniform Middy Sailor Blouse & Green Bloomers
This vintage Lonsdale Jeans school uniform middy sailor blouse and green bloomers date from the 1920s. It is made of a white and green cotton woven twill pattern weave fabric. This young womens school uniform athletic sportswear outfit includes a white middy blouse with sailor collar, green handkerchief necktie, breast pocket slit, long full sleeves missing the button closures at the cuffs, pullover style and is unlined. There is a "Lonsdale Jeans" label and owners name tag "Elizabeth E. Stetson" sewn inside. The top measures 22 inches long, with a 42 inch bust, 42 inch waist, 20 inch sleeves and 15 inch back. Included are pair of green athletic bloomers baggy knee length pants with pleated detail, gathered elastic leg cuffs, a fitted waistband with side snap closures and is unlined. The bloomers measure 27 inches long, with a 5 inch inseam, 28 inch waist and 60 inch hips. It is in good condition, with a few faint tiny stains on the top by the breast pocket (see close-up). This rare girls athletic gym outfit is truly a wonderful piece of womens sportswear wearable art!
