    Description

VERY Interesting story! The coat was one of my very first vintage purchases, found in pristine condition in a vintage shop.
4 months later and 60 miles away, I
found the matching gown. I honestly didn't recognize it at first; I unzipped the back to
search for a label when I noticed the very unique fabric. I was stunned. In trying to find information on the vintage label,
I was at a loss to find any history. I have seen various Pab pieces on occasion; they are priced relative to their exclusivity.
For the past two years, I carried the listing for a full length evening gown with ankle length matching coat. Absolutely gorgeous,
but with the exception of an opera opening it was just so formal. I toyed with the idea, and presented it to my seamstress, to
chop all the fabric off of the length of the gown and make hot pants! Which she did, exceptionally well. The evening coat was
then shortened to a much more modern length; still perfect to wear over the one piece romper. Please see the photos, I have
    many more for the asking.
The reconstructed one piece jumper has a simple scoop neckline, and a huge fabric bow at the empire type waist. Princess
seaming and the 21" nylon zip up the back fit curves and make for a knockout silhouette. 4" inner leg seam from crotch.
The coat is beautifully lined and has the Union label showing manufacture between 1964 - 1973. Five rhinestone buttons do
have a couple of missing stones, but very minor and not noticeable. The collar is asymmetrical and awesome.
PROFESSIONALLY DRY CLEANED & READY TO WEAR
    EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION
My mannequin is a 4 and the coat JUST fit over the romper
