    Description

Up for auction is a vintage original WW1 leather belt pouch used for spare parts for the BAR  Browning Automatic Rifle.  Pouch is maker marked Jewell 1918.  Condition is fair for its 100 + year old age.  NO rips or tears though it looks like cuts were made to back of pouch to put through a belt.  Overall scuffs.  Soldier long ago engraved crude skulls on the front flap.  Also the soldiers name, if I am reading it right, Eugene Fuhrman as well as a street address from Berkeley are engraved on pouch as well as a few other words I cannot make out..  Please check my other listings.  Thanks.
