    Description

Vintage 70’s ADRIENNE VITTADINI Jacket & Skirt Separates. 100% Cotton. Soft & Comfy
    Description:
Soft, warm and comfortable. The Skirt has a drop, elastic waist, pulls-on and has a green pattern that matches the jacket. The long-sleeve Jacket has 3 pockets, 4 buttons (one is loose) and shoulder pads (can be removed). The Jacket matches details in the skirt.
    Condition Details:
This set is in good condition. I do not see any major flaws. The elastic waist on the skirt has loosened, it still has some elasticity but may need to be replaced or stitched to tighten. The Jacket is also in good condition, it only has a button or two that is loose.

These beautiful clothes came from the estates of two sisters. They passed away at the young age of 95 & 96. One of the sisters worked in the Lingerie Department at Marshall Field in Chicago and that is where the majority of clothes were purchased. She worked at Marshall Field in the late 40’s through the 70’s. Many pieces have never been worn and still have original tags. Some of the tags are marked in red because she would stash the piece of clothing until final sale and purchase with her discount. Anyone that worked or works in retail knows exactly what I’m talking about. :)
The other sister worked for Porsche-Audi for years.
The sisters traveled frequently purchasing clothing and decor on many of their trips. They made several trips to Italy and seemed to purchase quite a bit during those trips.
After going through both homes, I ended up purchasing 48 boxes and 2 closets full of clothing. I love vintage clothing and these are just amazing-they tell a story.
Most of the clothing is sized small to medium. There may be some flaws that I didn’t see or wasn’t familiar with such as designer names or alterations. There may be torn tags, buttons missing, alterations, loose threads, etc. or flaws that I miss, but if anything stands out, I will definitely mention it and take a picture. The clothes are all as I found them. I did not alter the clothing in anyway other than gently wipe (shoes & bags) and/or set in sun due to mothball smell. I try to not sell clothes that smell, unless they are extremely rare and/or ornate, but I will add that to the above description. I did steam extremely wrinkled pieces. Basically, I leave the laundering to the new owner.
The merchandise will be shipped via USPS or UPS in a padded mailer or box.
I do offer multiple item discounts.
