This is an auction for a World War One Chelsea Pilot House Naval Clock From A decommissioned US Navy Destroyer. Serial number 126632. The wooden mantle base was made for the clock and adds a very decorative look with the history on the back. This clock is a great piece of history and would make a nice addition to and military, WWI collection, or antique clock collection. The clock measures 7” wide by 2.5 inches deep. The base of the holder is 14” wide by 4” deep. The clock shows appropriate aging. The clock does run and keeps good time. The encasement has small age related finishing chips. Also the face is dirty and the clock hands are not perfectly flat, again all appropriate age and use related. Don’t forget, the clock is from a decommissioned Naval Destroyer from WWI. As depicted, this was a gift from a US Naval Captain to his cousin and this item was purchased from the owner. Please look at all photos, zoom in, and ask questions. I ship safe and fast !!!
