WW1 Camouflaged German M16 Helmet

Description

Making some space and listing up this camouflaged M16 helmet with an intact liner.  The liner appears to have been treated by a previous owner.  All the tongues on the liner are intact and the pads are all present.  No chinstrap.
The shell is a large size 66 made by ET.  The paint shows to have been mixed with dirt and the lugs are plugged, a commonly done period modification to lessen wind noise and drafts of cold air.  The fall colors camouflage paint appears to have been varnished at some point, probably by the same person that treated the leather.  There is also a name written in pencil inside the back skirt of the helmet.
