    Description

    This is a World War I picture folder from Camp Sherman in Chillicothe, Ohio.  It contains 20 pictures.  It measures 6" x 4".
    The cover is taped on and the strip of pictures is separated into two strips.  It is well worn with a surface tear on the left edge of the back cover.

    and today serves as a training site for National Guard Soldiers.
    Between June and September 1917, the Army constructed 2,000 buildings at the Camp Sherman site, which included "Mound City," an enclosure and collection of earthworks left by the native Hopewell culture. In the process, some ancient earthworks were damaged or destroyed.
